Rabbi Stephen Leon

Rabbi Leon is the founding director of the Anusim Center in El Paso, Texas and for decades has been one of the leading rabbinical forces listening to the B'nei Anusim (descendants of the forced converts in the Spanish world) and opening a path to Judaism for them. He is the Rabbi Emeritus of the Congregation B'nai Tzion in El Paso.

Rabbi Leon, Director of the Anusim Center in El Paso, TX and Rabbi Emeritus of B’nai Zion Synagogue has written his theological memoir about experiences with Anusim families from the Southwest of the U.S., Mexico and beyond.
